Part one

Working with Foundry Systems

Foundry Systems LLC, a California company, provides business software and related pilot services.

What controls a piece of paid work

A customer’s signed order, pilot agreement, or other written agreement controls the scope, price, timing, and specific terms of paid work. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement wins.

How you may use the service

You may use our services only for lawful business purposes. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse another party’s information.

Your information stays yours

You retain ownership of the information you provide. You give us permission to process that information only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. Privacy describes what that means in practice.

What we do not promise

We work to keep the service available and secure, but pilot software changes, and it is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, Foundry Systems LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Any written customer agreement may set different or additional terms.

Money

Fees, refunds, and cancellation

Pilot fees, payment dates, cancellation rights, and any refund terms are stated in the written agreement for that pilot. Payments are processed by Stripe.

If there is a billing problem, contact us first at support@foundrysystems.app so we can review it promptly. We would rather fix a mistake than have you dispute it.

If we later offer recurring subscriptions, a customer may cancel before the next renewal date to stop future charges. Payments already made are not refundable unless the customer’s written agreement says otherwise or the law requires it.

Part two

Using a Foundry workspace

This part matches the Terms page inside the app, which is the version a person reads while signed in. Your use of a workspace is governed by its owner’s rules as well as by these terms.

What Foundry is

Foundry is work-management software for people and the software agents they supervise: projects, work, reviews, decisions, documents, and people on one shared record. It is provided by Foundry Systems to the owner of a workspace.

Your account

You join a workspace by invitation from its owner, using the identity the owner trusts. You are responsible for the acts taken while signed in as you. You can see where you are signed in, end other sessions, and delete your account from Settings › Account.

The record

Everything done in a workspace is recorded with who did it and when, so that the record can be trusted. A decision, once recorded, keeps its rationale. Deleting your account does not remove your name from work you already did.

Agents

An agent acts only under a grant a human gave it, within the scope and budget of that grant, and every act it takes is attributable to the grant and to the person who supervises it. Foundry does not act on other systems on your behalf: it records plans, proof, and decisions, and a person or a connector outside the app carries them out.

Acceptable use

Use the workspace for the work it was created for. Do not attempt to read records you were not given access to, to act as someone else, or to interfere with the service other members rely on. A workspace owner may remove a member who does.

Availability and warranty

The software is provided as it is. Foundry Systems does not promise that it is free of defects or always available, and, to the extent the law allows, is not liable for loss arising from its use.

Reviews, approvals, proof, and audit lines mean what the app says they mean and no more. They do not by themselves establish legal approval, regulatory compliance, or that a system outside the app changed.

Changes to these terms

These terms change only with a new dated version of this page. The date near the top is the version you are reading.
