Foundry Systems LLC
Support
How to reach a person here, what to send, and what to do when something is wrong in your workspace, in the app, or with another person.
Write to us
One address for everything: help, billing, privacy, and security. A person reads it.
Getting help
Reaching us, and what to expect
Email support@foundrysystems.app. There is no ticket portal and no phone queue.
A person reads every message that arrives, not an automated system. We are a small company at the paid-pilot stage, so the reply comes from the people building the product. We aim to answer within two business days. If you have not heard anything after that, send it again: it means something went wrong on our end, not that your message was ignored.
Access
Trouble signing in
Foundry does not create accounts or passwords of its own. You join a workspace by invitation from its owner, and you sign in with the identity that owner trusts, usually through the identity provider in front of the installation, or through the invitation link you were sent.
If a link has expired or you never received one, the owner of your workspace can issue a new invitation from Settings › Administration › People and roles. Once you are in, Settings › Account shows every browser that holds a session for you, and lets you end the others.
If nobody can reach the owner, write to us and we will help you work out who administers your installation.
Safety
If someone is bothering you
You can act on this yourself, immediately, without asking anyone’s permission.
In a private conversation, open Profile at the top. From there you can mute the conversation, block the person, or report them. On any message you can choose Report; on one of your own you can choose Unsend, which removes its words for every reader. In Settings › Account you choose who may start a conversation with you.
Blocking stops private messages in both directions, and the person you blocked is not told. A report goes to the owner of your workspace, who reads it and decides what to do; the person you reported is not told who reported them. Blocks and reports are read only by you and by the owners of your workspace. The person they are about never reads them, and neither does an agent.
If the owner of your workspace is the problem, or it cannot wait, write to support@foundrysystems.app and a person at Foundry Systems will read it. You do not need your owner’s permission, and we will not tell them you wrote.
If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services first. We cannot help with an emergency.
Your workspace
Something in your workspace
Your workspace owner can invite people, change roles, restore archived work, and see the administration pages. Most questions about who can see what, or where something went, are theirs to answer.
The People page lists everyone in the workspace and shows who the owner is. The Inbox is the quickest way to reach them.
The software
Something in the app
Open the ? button in the top bar for a short tour of how Foundry works.
When a control refuses an action, the message should say what happened and what to do next. If it does not, that is a defect worth reporting. Tell us the words it used.
Writing it up
What to include
- What you were trying to do, and where in the app you were.
- What the app said, word for word, including any message that names a next step.
- Your role in the workspace, and whether it happened on a phone or a desktop.
Never send passwords, sign-in links, or another person’s details. We will never ask you for a password.
Security
Reporting a security issue
Write to support@foundrysystems.app with Security in the subject. Tell us what you found, where, and how to reproduce it. We will confirm that we received it, and we will tell you what we decide to do.
Please do not test against other people’s workspaces or data, and please do not run denial-of-service or load tests against us. If you find something, give us a chance to fix it before you describe it publicly.
The machine-readable version of this contact is at /.well-known/security.txt.
