Part one

Foundry Systems, the company

This part covers this website, our email, and the paid pilots we run. Foundry Systems LLC is responsible for everything in it.

This website

This site is made of static files. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no trackers, advertising, or fingerprinting. There is no JavaScript on any page, so nothing here can watch what you do. You can read every page without telling us anything about yourself.

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs and network error reports in order to deliver the site and protect it from attack. That is infrastructure logging, not analytics about you, and we do not use it to build a picture of any visitor.

When you write to us

If you email support@foundrysystems.app, we hold your name, your email address, and whatever you chose to tell us. We use it to answer you, and to talk about a pilot if that is what you wrote about. We keep it while we may still need it to follow up, and afterwards only as long as we need it as an ordinary business record.

Please do not send us passwords, sign-in links, or another person’s details.

Paid pilots

Running a pilot means holding business contact details for the people involved, the written agreement for that pilot, and a record of what was invoiced and paid.

Payment is handled by Stripe, which is the only payment processor we use. Card details are entered with Stripe, not with us: we never see or store a full card number. Stripe holds that information under its own terms as our payment provider.

Who else sees any of this

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. We share it only with the service providers who do this work for us (Cloudflare for hosting and Stripe for payments), when a customer tells us to, or when the law requires it.

Part two

Foundry, the app

This part describes the software itself. It matches the Privacy page inside the app, which is the version a person reads while signed in.

Who runs your workspace

Foundry is workspace software. Each workspace is run by its owner, either on the owner’s own installation or on a hosted deployment the owner chose. That owner decides who is invited, what roles they hold, and how long records are kept. Foundry Systems makes the software and does not see your workspace’s data. If the owner hosts the workspace with Foundry Systems, we hold it for them under the agreement we have with them.

What the app stores about you

• Your name, email address, role, weekly hours, and the profile picture and @handle you choose.
• The work you touch: projects, work items, comments, messages, documents, proof you attach, and the approvals you request or decide, each stamped with who did it and when.
• Your messaging choices: who may start a conversation with you, the conversations you muted, the people you blocked, and any report you sent. Only you and the owners of your workspace can read these. The person you blocked or reported cannot, and neither can an agent. A message you unsend is kept as the fact that something was said and when, with its words removed.
• Sign-in records: which browsers hold a session for you, when they were used, and when they expire. A password, if you set one in the app, is stored only as a salted hash.
• An audit record of security-relevant acts, such as joining, changing a role, exporting, or deleting.

The app uses no advertising, no analytics trackers, and no fingerprinting. The only cookie it sets is the session cookie that keeps you signed in.

Who can see it

Members of your workspace see the projects and work their role allows. Agents, the software colleagues an owner registers, see only what a current grant from a human allows, and every act an agent takes is recorded together with the grant it acted under. Nothing is shared with other workspaces or other companies by the app itself, and Foundry performs no external effects on your behalf.

Deleting your account

You can delete your own account at any time from Settings › Account › Delete my account. It needs no request to anyone. Deleting it ends every session, removes your sign-in and any password you set in the app, and takes you off the team.

Comments, approvals, and finished work keep your name on them, because a record of who did what is the reason the workspace exists. If you are the only owner, make someone else an owner first, or erase the whole workspace from Administration, which removes every record it holds.

If you would rather ask a person, write to support@foundrysystems.app and we will help. For a workspace we do not host, we will point you to the owner who can act on it.

Where it lives and for how long

Records live in the workspace’s own database. Backups, exports, and retention are under the owner’s control, and are described to the owner in Administration. When a workspace is erased, one audit line naming who erased it and when is the only thing left.

Getting an answer

Asking us about your information

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@foundrysystems.app and a person will read it.
